Shoreigh Williams

“When in doubt, draw it out" - Shoreigh Williams

Through my work I want to take the viewer on a ride of following their intuition. With the layers of mixed media, I aim to uncover and confront the uncomfortable truths that shape our inner world. Creating a space for self-reflection, contemplation, and connection.

Born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona, Shoreigh Williams is a versatile artist celebrated for her elegantly morphed, dreamlike style. Working primarily with Micron pens and acrylics, she creates intricate, layered pieces that invite viewers to explore their subconscious. Williams' distinctive scribble texture has become a staple in her work. Her art serves as a testament to cherishing time, relationships, and creative expression.

Pleading Insanity 2022

“Pleading Insanity” is a 14 piece series that embodies dedication and sacrifice to define the creative process. The name was came upon after the derailing of my previous series “I Locked My Keys In My Car” due to the pandemic. This series helped navigate the discouragement and possibilities of creation. During the execution, I was simultaneously becoming a full time tattoo artist through an apprenticeship. Where, time, sacrifice, and character building became integral to my artistic growth. Through the “Pleading Insanity” collection I channeled the lessons learned during this period into a body of work the reflects my commitment to deliver self reflective and rebellion art to my community.

I LOCKED MY KEYS IN MY CAR 2020

“I Locked My Keys In My Car” is a series that focuses on life’s unexpected twists and turns. Inspired by everyday mistakes. This collection invites viewers to reevaluate their priorities. It was created during a personal turmoil that included the loss of my first love. It is a testament to the importance of cherishing time, relationships, and creative expression. As I navigated grief, I distilled my priorities into those three core values.

This collection asks: What matters most to you?
